Happy weekend! I am so thankful that today is finally Friday because boy do I need a little break. You know those weeks when you feel like it will be smooth sailing and then it turns out to be the busiest week of the summer? Well, that is exactly what happened to me this week. Oh well, it happens, I got through it and now it is the weekend! Yippie!

I am really looking forward to this weekend because we are celebrating my sweet husbands birthday! His birthday isn’t until next Wednesday but we are going to keep it a party of two on his actual birthday and celebrate with friends this weekend! We are total opposites when it comes to our birthdays. I for one love a birthday month and celebrating with as many friends as possible but he loves nothing more than a SMALL dinner with his favorites. I guess I can see where he is coming from because there is nothing better than an intimate dinner. He opted for going to one of his favorite restaurants that just re-opened in Dallas and then head to his favorite bar.

Best Weekend Sales

• Nordstrom: Ok, I am sure you are sick of hearing about it but yes, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is still going on…Prices go up August 3rd! I actually bought a few pairs of these leggings to work out in. They are THE BEST leggings and are perfect for cooler temps when you are headed to the gym (also love the capri version). This make up set is such a great deal and includes some of my all-time favorite products. This jacket would be so cute to just throw on when the weather finally cools down, love these TOMS wedge booties, these runners are so cool, I still love these Tory Burch riding boots and how pretty is this little red dress (and it’s under $100)?
• Neiman Marcus: These ankle booties would be PERFECT for fall and I’m not even kidding when I say they are show stoppers, these Manolo’s are oh so pretty, if you are looking for a jacket that you will literally wear everyday when the temps cool off, this Vince one is for you, this jumpsuit is tres chic and I am loving this little white dress.
• Shopbop: Love this denim mini skirt, this off the shoulder yellow dress is adorable, this blouse would be flattering on EVERYONE (but really) and this is such a beautiful maxi dress (trust me)!
