A couple of weeks ago me and my friends Megan and Hollie threw a sip & see garden party for our friend Candice who just had her third baby. We thought it would be fun to get together some of her closest friends and celebrate the birth of her third baby and also get all of our new babies together (all of these babies were born within the last 7 1/2 months). 9 babies in the same place all laying (and trying to roll around) together is literally the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Since the weather is pretty nice in October, we thought it would be fun to do the party in our backyard. Our backyard is the perfect size to host a small (ish) group. We ordered a few tables, brought in some umbrellas, got a bar, placed pretty blankets on the lawn for the babes to lounge on and put together some florals and we were ready to go! It really was one of the most uncomplicated get togethers I have ever thrown at our house but to be honest, it was one of my favorites.
I love the way the outdoors really complimented the indoors of our house. We did the sip & see mid afternoon to accommodate nap times and provided light bites and lots of booze (we were all secretly celebrating not being pregnant). It was the most special afternoon celebrating our sweet Candice but also filled with such sweet memories getting together all of these littles. These pictures of my ‘forever friends’ (the girls I have known for 21 years) with our new babies are some that I will cherish forever.
This was actually the first sip & see I have ever been to (or thrown) and it was so much fun to plan such a lovely afternoon! I cannot wait for the next one!
