Back to school we go! Today Ralph started back at school. Technicallyyyyyyy school started a couple of weeks ago but we were enjoying our summer so much in Idaho, we decided he could miss a couple of days which allowed us to enjoy the cooler weather for an extra two weeks!
I know a handful of you are wondering where on earth we went this summer and in short, we packed up and moved to Idaho for the summer to enjoy cooler weather and lake life. We would spend our days outdoors and some even cozied up by a fire (yes, the weather is that dreamy there). This summer was truly a dream and I know I will always cherish the memories that we made with our little family and friends.
To say that I am grateful for the amount of time I got to have with Ralph and Wade is an understatement. Today as we were dropping Ralph off at school (he only goes a couple days a week for a few hours), Ralph was really sad and Wade mentioned that he was probably extra sad because we had not been apart in months! Kind of weird to type that previous sentence but it’s so true. For the months of June, July and August we got to see Ralphie all day everyday which probably made drop off a little bit harder for us this morning. I do want to add that approximately 5 minutes after we left, Ralph’s teacher texted me a photo and he was giggling while painting…so he’s FINE now!
Excited to get back to a ‘normal’ routine in Dallas and of course with Dallas Wardrobe. I want to thank ALL of you for being so patient with me this summer while I truly soaked up every minute I possibly could with my little family. I know how fast everything goes so I was really trying to be present.
