Besides the last 24 hours, the weather in Dallas has been nothing sort of a dream. Flowers blooming, fresh air, green grass, birds chirping and sunshine…all things that signal that spring has officially sprung!

Since the last week has been so lovely in Dallas, I have tried to spend as much time as possible outdoors. I have also been getting out of the house in the afternoons and working from my favorite neighborhood spots. Last Thursday, it was extra nice so before I met my photographer to snap these photos, I decided to answer my afternoon e-mails at a (new-ish) neighborhood spot, Bird Bakery. If you have not been, I highly recommend. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee (their skinny vanilla latte’s are the best), grab a sandwich or even get your sweet fix with one of their famous cupcakes!

For a work afternoon out or even a casual get together or lunch with friends, this blue and white stripe blouse has been a favorite of mine. I love the forgiving silhouette of the blue and white blouse plus the price tag of only $18 makes it THAT much better. This blue and white striped blouse is the perfect spring staple to pair with your favorite pair of white jeans (this maternity pair is my favorite) and when the temperatures increase, swapping your white denim for a pair of shorts would be the perfect outfit to easily transition from spring to summer! Let’s just say this blue and white blouse is a current favorite of mine and I cannot wait to keep wearing it over and over again!
