The last couple of weeks Dallas has been brutally hot. I’m not talking just mildly uncomfortable heat..I mean like really, really warm. So warm you don’t even want to be outside! Thankfully next week we are headed to Nantucket for Makenzie’s wedding and I could not be more excited. Of course I am excited to stand by Mackenzie’s side and celebrate this exciting new chapter but I am also excited to enjoy the cooler weather and take baby Ralph on his very first trip.

I got this dress a couple of weeks ago because it is really breathable (perfect for Texas) and also just an easy dress that I can wear on many different occasions. It’s the perfect dress to wear with heels or flats and the best part is that it works for all different body parts (fit and flare is the best). I love the green color wave that I am wearing because it is a great color that transitions easily into fall but I also really like the black version. In my opinion, there is nothing better than finding a great fit and flare like this Theory green fit & flare dress.
