dress // flats // prada tote (similar here) // sunnies
Even though it is SO hot in Dallas now, I still love this time of year. As long as you are near a body of water (lake or pool), it is really not that bad. A couple of weeks ago Wade and I were at White Rock Lake working on a fun nursery project with our favorite creative couple, Yesi and Josh Fortuna. Although our sweet baby Ralph’s nursery is complete for the most part, the ONE thing that it was missing was a great piece of art. We wanted something that didn’t scream ‘baby’ but was also unique to the space. We had looked online at ordering some sort of car print but everything just felt so generic and like we had seen it before. Then one afternoon a lightbulb went off and we both thought that we should just have Yesi and Josh shoot something. We have the car and have access to the ‘dream team’, so why not!
Thankfully, they loved the idea as much as we did. Let’s just say I cannot wait to share what they came up with (I will share when we do Ralph’s nursery reveal). The day we were out at White Rock Lake was SO hot, so I decided to wear my favorite go-to white eyelet dress and my favorite flats. The dress was breezy, lightweight and I actually love it (I even wore it to a golf tournament a couple weeks ago with tennis shoes).
This white eyelet shift dress has really come in handy the last few weeks of my pregnancy because I have been able to grow into it and it is also really forgiving. I love this dress so much that I even ordered it in green! If you are looking for a perfect summer shift dress, this white eyelet dress is your best (and most reasonable) bet!
