Creating your baby registry can be quite intimidating, especially if you are going to be a first time mom like me! Although I have a mom of my own and SO many friends that already have littles, there is something so personal about creating your own baby registry. For one, it’s such a personal preference. There are so many different products it can be overwhelming, plus you add in the different styles and color waves and you could spend DAYS trying to find what you ‘think’ will work best for you.
Thankfully, I had the help of the girls from The Tot. They are an online store/blog that really caters to finding the best products for baby. They also have a free standing store in Highland Park Village, so I was able to go in and actually touch and test out all of the products that are on my baby registry! One thing that I wanted to keep in mind while registering was not to ‘over register’(less is more). No, I did not register for a high chair because I know our little guy will not be sitting in one for quite some time, so I really don’t see the point of storing baby products for months and months!
You can view my full registry here and here. I do want to say that I am VERY realistic in the fact that some of the products that I love, our baby will hate. I know motherhood is going to be full of trial and errors and I cannot wait to learn what will work for our little guy!
