Green Dress

It’s no secret that green is one of my favorite colors. I love it so much that our bedroom is a dark green, I often carry a green bag, my alma matters color is green, my bridesmaids wore green, I’ve had a green car before and the accent color that I have used since the beginning of Dallas Wardrobe is green. Am I Obsessed? Pretty much, so when I saw this long sleeve green dress at Zara and it was only $49 (TRF collection) I grabbed it as quickly as I could.

I not only loved the shade of green but I don’t have a long sleeved dress so I thought it was a good addition to my closet. I really like the idea of having a long sleeved dress because it is the perfect option for those times when you don’t want to wear tights or carry a coat but it is still chilly outside. Since this dress is so simple it is so easy to add accessories. I decided to go with a white statement earring to add a nice pop but I also think a necklace or a stack of bracelets would have worked as well. Even though this dress will only get worn for the next couple of months (Dallas gets HOT fast), I know I will wear the color & those fun mod art deco earrings year round.
