Happy Friday! Whoah what a week. This week has to be one of the craziest I have had in a long time. The week started out with more work than I could dream..it always seems that a holiday does that. You relax for a few days only to open your computer Monday morning to more e-mails than you could imagine. Monday came and went, Tuesday I worked on a really fun project (make sure to check back next week for more details) and then Wednesday happened. I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t still pinching myself.
If you follow me on Instagram you know that Wednesday morning I flew to New York City. Yes, it was a very quick trip but when Sarah Jessica Parker e-mails you to sit with her at the Footwear News Achievement Awards because she was being honored for her shoe collection, SJP, as the shoe launch of the year you get on a plane. Yes. That really happened and it was such a special night that I know I will always remember. Thursday morning after returning from NYC (bright and early) the husband and I jumped on a plane and headed to Houston for dinner with friends. Now it is Friday, I am VERY tired but I am excited about the weekend ahead. One of my besties is getting married next weekend (eeeekkk!) and we are headed out for a girls weekend…one last hoorah! Whewwww. I know that is detail overload but I wasn’t kidding when I said it was a busy, busy week. I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I wanted to wish my sweet mother a happy birthday!
