Pink Stripes

Stripes are probably one of my favorite spring/summer things to wear. They have a light nautical feel that just makes me want to be outside or somewhere tropical. Even though they are a print they really are more neutral. When wearing stripes I like to pair them with a solid just to keep them kind of toned down (not a stripe on stripe girl, yet).

I grabbed this pink stripped shirt a couple of weeks ago knowing I would wear it more times than I could count. Not only is it the softest tee I own (think baby clothes) the combination of the color and the long sleeves make it my favorite. I love wearing long sleeve tees throughout the spring/summer because I get cold all the time (especially after a dip in the pool). Add a pink stripe and I cannot get enough.
