Sometimes it is so hard to be motivated. Yes, being active has always been a big part of my life but that doesn’t mean that I love going to work out. Ya, there are some days where I am really in the mood but most days I am just not having it but after I have completed my work out I realize how much better I feel and that it was actually worth it to get off the couch or out of the office for a little bit.
When I do take the time to work out, I am not a gym rat and spend hours at a time on a machine. After trying lots of different work outs a little over a year ago I discovered spin and I have been hooked ever since. So now whenever I opt for being active & healthy I am either spending 45 minutes at spin class or I opt for skipping the bike and taking the puppies, Banks & Harry, for a long walk. I can honestly say I think they prefer the days when I skip spin so they get an extra long walk.
Since the sun is shining extra bright right now and the weather isn’t completely miserable (I give it about 2 weeks) I am trying to take advantage and take the puppies on more walks. They love it and it keeps me active even on days I don’t feel like being on a bike. Win, win. What are your favorite work outs?
