Last Friday, along with one of my favorite gal pals Lynsey, we hosted a luncheon for Lisa Salzer of Lulu Frost Jewelry at Neiman Marcus downtown. If you are not familiar with Lulu Frost Jewelry you can just go ahead and thank me for what will be your new found jewelry obsession! Although Lisa Salzer founded Lulu Frost Jewelry in 2004, 2005 was the year that really put her on the map. The Plaza Hotel was going under renovations and she was brilliant enough to buy all of the bronze numerals that adorned the hallways and doors and turned them into pendants. Thus was born The Plaza Collection.
Ok, ok back to the luncheon details. Per usual, The Zodiac Room at Neiman Marcus was the perfect setting for such an affair. The luncheon started exactly how you would want a girly lunch to start, being greeted with champagne of course! The table was adorned with beautiful floral arrangements and was dripping in Lulu Frost Jewelry from one end to the other. It was so fun to play dress up throughout the entirety of the lunch and especially enjoyable to have Lisa of Lulu Frost style each of us with her jewels! Ourselves and our guests dined on the yummiest salad and popovers (NM classic) only to finish our meal with a box of warm traditional Neiman Marcus cookies (they are THE best). After lunch concluded and lots of champagne was consumed we all headed downstairs to view even more pieces from her collection. I ended up going home with these earrings and this bracelet. Gorgeous right?
Known for her statement pieces that combine a perfect blend of antique and modern elements, Lulu Frost is a designer who is talented beyond her years and someone who designs a collection that I literally want one of everything that she makes.
