I cannot believe that we have lived in our house for almost 9 months. Although we love the progress that has been made with our home, starting from scratch with furniture and undergoing big renovations has been quite the project. Stress aside, the time it has actually taken is much longer than I would have ever thought (we haven’t gotten to the kitchen yet) but it has been worth every minute because we are loving the way the house is coming together.
In my opinion, you can always tell that progress is being made when art starts going on the walls. There is something about art that brings the whole space together and since we are so fond of white, it really brings that perfect pop that our spaces need. For us, art on the walls really turns our house into a home.
You may remember this post that I did a couple of years ago that showcased our favorite Gray Malin pieces in our first house. Well fast forward almost two years (so crazy) and in honor of the launch of Gray Malin’s new series, Bora Bora, I have partnered with him to show off two beautiful pieces from the Bora Bora collection that we have added to our home as well as how we have placed his other work around the house.
If you cannot tell, we love blue & white so when I saw Gray Malin’s new Bora Bora aerial series I knew it would really fit perfectly with the style of our home. Specifically for our family room and master bedroom. I mean who doesn’t want to escape into beautiful photography while relaxing?
We have had this piece and this piece from the new Gray Malin Bora Bora aerial series on our walls for a couple of weeks now and you guys I have really never loved anything more. Not only are they great conversation pieces but every time I walk into the room where a piece from the Bora Bora series is hung I just stop and stare. The images are absolutely breathtaking but what makes me love this series so much is the aerial angle. I mean who doesn’t want a birds eye view of one of the most beautiful places in the world? Thanks to Gray Malin and his talents we now all get to enjoy the pretty, unimaginable side of places we all dream about visiting. p.s. Have you seen Gray Malin’s first ever coffee table book, Beaches? It’s a must-have!
