Until this last fall, midi skirts have not really been my thing. Nothing against a midi skirt, I just have always ‘passed’ on them in a dressing room because I felt like I would never really get enough wear out of them....

A dress and boots is a favorite combo of mine. Of course I love the way that boots and a dress (like this printed one) look together but more importantly, I love how it easily makes a ‘warmer temp’ dress perfectly appropriate for cooler temps....
Going West for the Holidays

Next week we are headed west to celebrate the holidays with my husbands family. My husband Wade grew up in a tiny town (think no Starbucks or CVS) about 3 hours from Dallas. As someone who dreads being in the car, the drive always seems daunting but by the time we arrive, we are always so excited to enjoy the slow paced life for a couple of days....
