Statement Slippers
Everything about New York Fashion Week with Sally, Molly + Mary this past weekend was a success. The Hudson Hotel was gorgeous, the shows were unbelievable (DVF, Mara Hoffman and Lela Rose were my favorites), the restaurants were delicious (The Smith, P.J. Clarks, Philippe, Fred’s +Bar Boulud) and of course the street style fashion was out of this world....

When purchasing pieces that are a bit more on the wild side I am always a little apprehensive. I get that initial feeling that once it has been worn it has been worn (does that make sense?) because I prefer to purchase items that I know I can wear more than a few times. ...
Inspiration
Coming off of the long holiday (and birthday) weekend that we spent in La Jolla, I have to admit I am a little tired. I know sob story considering the weekend was spent at the spa, lounging by the pool + celebrating at our friends wedding. I have a couple of days to rest up and then this Friday I am headed to New York with Molly, Sally + Mary for a few days to enjoy the Super Bowl of fashion events, New York Fashion Week....
