Ready for the Weekend

I say this every Friday but I am ready for the weekend. Not that my week was super stressful or exciting, it’s just nice to have those couple of days to just step away from everything work related and just relax. The beginning of the week was rainy and dark in Dallas. Not sure if you are into that but I think it sucks....

Sometimes it is really good to get out of your comfort zone. This could mean trying a new restaurant, a new work out, new fashion trend or something as simple as a new lipstick. Growing up during a time when gloss ruled and the only person I knew who wore lipstick was my grandmother you can see why I was not really into it....

We have lived in our house exactly 10 months today. As I have learned with everything great things take time. As much as I wish I could snap my fingers and our house would be completely decorated and perfectly accessorized thats just not reality (at least not for me).
About a month ago while the husband and I were reading Baileys blog we were really inspired (especially by the Alligator Alley paint) and we decided to have every room but the office and the guest room painted....
